HP Laserjet 1300 paper creasing on printing

I have had my laserjet 1300 from new. It is about 4 years old and has been great to date.

It has started creasing the paper on printing. It is always at the same point. It starts on the from edge of the paper being fed about an inch from the edge and creases the paper to about five inches down the right edge. It is a strong crease such that the paper could not be used execpt for notes/scrap.

Any ideas?

I forget the terminology but I believe there's either dirt or a sheet of paper on an internal roller.

You might try here for HP help.

Hello,
if the noise is like a plastic packaging its most likely the Fuser Fixing Film.
You can get it replaced at a tech with a compatible one or with a new fuser assembly.

You need to clean or replace the imaging unit. Driver probably won't help.

HP 1300 Laserjet severely creases left-hand side of page, from top left to midway down the page. At the top of the page the crease starts about 2" in but gradually runs off the page midway down the page....

sounds like your fusing unit is at fault. still under warranty? also check the paper tray.

firistly try to find out the printer is ready or not then find out when we powearing on the printer then it is warming up or not if it is warning up and not come to ready position then open front cover pull the toner cartage and send back it propely
then give print if the problem is not solved then ckeck the printer cables and drivers
