Yes. An indoor sleeping bag is much cheaper and will not provide the warmth and comfort you would expect from an outdoor sleeping bag designed for camping/backpacking. Indoor sleeping bags are often referred to as slumber bags - generally used for childrens sleepovers.

What is the difference between a stuff sack and a compression sack?

Your sleeping bag is usually sold with a stuff sack, which just refers to the (usually nylon) bag that the sleeping bag comes in. If space in your backpack is not an issue, than the provided stuff sack will be fine for you, but keep in mind that it is not totally waterproof because water can enter in through the opening at the top. A compression sack is a separate sack that you can buy if you want to pack your sleeping bag into a smaller size. The compression sack shrinks the size by allowing you to use straps to squeeze any excess air out of the sleeping bag. The straps are connected to a piece of fabric that can cover the opening of the sack and make it completely water-proof.

Why is Mr Slim MS-SGF24VC outdoor unit working when indoor unit off

Possibly a bad control board in the outdoor unit. Pull the disconnect outside to stop machine, wait 10 seconds and out back in. White mist was likely frost built up on indoor coil due to condenser running without the fan.

Can I buy a simple sleeping bag for all of my outdoor use?

Technically, there are 3 types of sleeping bags for various uses outdoors - trail, trekking and mountain. Trail bags are great for short trips and ideal for inexpensive sleeping bags. Trekking bags are designed for longer use and are usually much more lightweight. Lastly, mountain sleeping bags are especially lightweight and are made with extra insulation.

What is the best to care for my sleeping bag?

When not in use, sleeping bags should be kept away from high heat and away from moisture.

ā€¢ Store in a dry location in moderate temperature.

ā€¢ During use, try to keep the sleeping bag dry and away from open flame.

ā€¢ After use, air dries the sleeping bag outside for several hours.

ā€¢ Follow the manufacturer's instruction for cleaning the sleeping bag. Instructions differ based on the type of material and insulation.
