Fisher and Paykel 7.5 washing machine keeps powering off during rinse and spin cycles

Power turns on ok and wash cycle completes with no dramas. As soon as it starts to drain for the first rinse cycle however, the power turns off, with no lights appearing on the machine. I then have to wait approx. 5 minutes before the power will turn back on again. I have to repeat this process quite a few times until eventually, the water will start to drain. After the rinse cycle, the 2nd rinse cycle (where it fills up with water again) completes without stopping, however, once I get to the spin cycle and it starts to drain again, the problem with the power turning off starts again. Anybody have any ideas how to fix this please ?

The pump has a thermal safety cut out on it.
If the pump gets too hot it cut out.
Just put a new pump in and your all going again.

SOURCE: Rinse water fills the washing machine when the spin cycle starts

Check your outlet filter, most likely it is blocked, preventing the water from draining out. Chk your pump too. Before this disconnect from the wall socket; and also check the pipe coming from the tub to the filter. Siphon out the excess water from inside the machine before you open the pipes.

SOURCE: Machine will not spin or drain water.

I have a problem with my MW512AU. Sometimes it drains after wash cycle, but sometimes it sticks when it goes to spin, doesn't get up to speed, water comes on for about 10 seconds and shuts off, and it tries to spin again. If I hit the wash progress switch it goes directly to final spin and works ok. I then have to run a 2nd wash cycle to rinse the clothes. I also noticed a buzzing sound when I turn on the power point, which lasts about 3 seconds before stopping. It will come back on every 3-4 minutes for 30 seconds. This is with the machine power switch off. It powers on normally.

Yes the shop you bought it from. At only 12 months old the warranty should still apply.

Fisher and paykel ecs washing machine. The agitator dosen`t turn any more so the clothes aren`t getting clean. The spin is working ok.What could the problem be??

This can a problem with the program controller unit as during the cycle there is no power to the motor so as to agitate.
You will need to check the controller , try with another program if not check the output when the wash cycle is on.
