Remote doesn't work

I am trying to use my backup wireless controller but when I took it out of storage the battery was dead. After replacing the battery the wireless light comes on but doesn't turn on the device. Almost like it isn't paired with the antenna

See if there are jumper wires or dipswitches on wireless controller that may have come loose or switched to an incorrect code. Match the code to your reciever and try again.

Won't start up

No, the 180 doesn't have a battery backup. What are the symptoms ... does the sewing light come on or is the machine completely dead. Where did you store it ... is there a chance that the damp has got to the electronics inside ... if so it is best not to power it up until you have an authorized bernina engineer look at it and possibly clean the main processor board etc.

My controller will connect to my xbox for like a second then it shuts off?

oh no! you discovered that your remote has a thing i call"disconnection" OK don't panic,i think i can help... just like with the Wii remote i have these troubles too. OK,on the thing that it connects too...(kinda like the black thing you have to put on the top of your TV on the Wii) there is a built in connector that helps u get your Xbox controller to connect to play games. if there is anything on top of your Xbox such as shoes, video games, clothes or anything else that shouldn't be on it, take those things off. then try it. if that doesn't work, then you might have low battery on your controller. just replace it with new batteries, i know it sounds stupid but just try it. but,if that doesn't work, try a different controller, cause the one u have might be broken...

My remote won't set to the tv I tried pressing the set button and it didn't work then I replaced the batteries to see if that would work but it didn't and now I don't know what to do please...

Hello
You might have a cellphone with camera option. Set the cellphone co cemera mode, and place the remote control at about 1 feet away from its camera lens, and press each button on your remote control. Remote control emits infrared rys as we press each button, but can't be detected by human eye. Electronic cameras can detect it. If there is any infrared ray emission from your remote control you will see its image on the camera screen for each button press to your remote control. If there is image and still the Tv doesn't respond to it, The TVs' infrared snsor inside has damaged and should be replaced. If there isn't any image; check the battery contacts of the remote battery compartment first. Clean these contacts by using a piece of corborandum paper or with the tip of a razor blade. Improper battery contacts, due to rust and dust to these contacts will prevent the battery supply voltage to enter into the remote contro.
Still it doesn't work at all, the remote control is damged and should be replaced. Contact the nearest Vizio Authorised Service Cente fro original remote control. OK.

I have a omni 1000 lcd. power went off when it came on the thing won't work. When I bypass the unit and plug my TV into the power out let the TV works . Have any idea what could be going on ,is the...

The UPS is either off, has a dead battery or is dead. Does the UPS power anything at the surge only outlets? If it doesn't, it's off or dead. Turn it on and check again.

The Omni 100 VS does not have a user-replaceable battery or other parts. If the battery or UPS is dead, replace it.

I hope this helps.

My calculator will not respond to anything. The cursor is blinking, but I am not able to shut it off or do anything with it. I took the batteries out and put them back in and it went to the same screen.

Try taking out the batteries and the backup battery that is behind a little door in the battery compartment. You'll need a phillips screwdriver to take the door off.

Leave the back up battery out for at least 10 hours before putting it back in. If this doesn't work, you may want to try replacing the backup battery.

Hope this helps.

It doesn't work

Hi,

is this a remote to TV or what? I am assuming it's a remote to a TV. If it is not for a TV, let me know, although, the solution is similar to any unit that uses remote control.

There are three possible causes for this problem;

1. Batteries may be dead inside the remote.
2. Remote might be defctive.
3. TV remote sensor/infrared might be defective.

Battries; Simply insert new batteries into the remote and try again. If changing batterises doesn't help, problem as to be from the Remote or TV's infrared.

Remote: Check the remote battery terminal, see if its not rust. Also, disassemble the remote, can check the connection between the terminal and the remote board, see if there is no disconnection of any kind.

If after checking and all seems well, then it means the remote is defective. To confirm, borrow a remote, test it with the TV. If it works, then it means you need to replace your remote. But if the remote you borrowed does not work, then it means the problem is from the TV and not the remote.

TV: There is a sensor in the TV that communicates with the remote. If this sensor is defective, the remote won't communicate with the TV.

The TV sensor might have loosed contact from inside of the TV or it maybe defective and need to be replaced.

So do the above troubleshooting and let me know if the problem is from the TV or remote. If problem is from the remote, you need to do a replacement. But if otherwise, let me knows as well.

Yours sincerely

I don't know a lot about this console (the Retron 3), but the game sounds like it works fine, try using a different third-party console, I recommend the Retro Entertainment System, it's only around $20 - $25 on eBay, try a different NES game, if it doesn't work, than it's probably the controllers, get replacements, or the batteries are dead.

I have a remote for adjustable bed that won't work. I know it is the remote, because I put a new 9V battery in and the red light doesn't come on. Model No:R2-T3. FCC ID: MGB _R2-T (03-680252-03). I see someone posted the same problem and don't see any recommendation to fix or replace it.
