Frigidaire Range control panel DEAD

Hello mrstrini2 - Do you have an electric or gas range? Most fault codes consist of both letters and numbers. Could you provide me the code to better address the issue at hand?

The same thing happened to me about a week ago. I was preheating our electric oven, heard a very loud bang/pop. Checked and the oven had PF (power failure) I went downstairs and the breaker was tripped. Came back upstairs and to look at stove, the burners are working fine so I continued to preheat oven after a half an hour the oven was only slightly warm. Did you ever find out what was wrong?

SOUNDS LIKE YOU HAVE A REGULATOR PROBLEM. IT WONT HURT ANYTHING ITS JUST ANNOYING. OR YOU CAN REPLACE THE REGULATOR

check the continuity on both your elements as well as the wiring to the unit itself.
if both the elements are good and the wiring is fine then you need to replace the electronic control board

F-1 USUALLY MEENS THE MAIN PCB OR CLOCK ***. I WOULD RECOMEND REMOVING THE POWER AND PULLING IT AWAY FROM THE WALL .TAKE THE BACK PANNEL OFF AND LOOK FOR A BURN MARK. THAT SHOULD SHOW WHAT BLEW.

I WOULD DISCONECT THE POWER AND REMOVE THE BACK PANNELS AND LOOK FOR A SHORTED WIRE OR A BURN MARK ON THE BOARD. ALSO CHECK WHERE THE CORD ATACHES TO THE STOVE. GOOD LUCK!

Nope, no fuse. Your Control Panel is shot. Sorry.

The recepticle that the burner ends plug into get worn and loose. This will cause arching and that may be what she saw. OR, there could be a wire loose under the stove top feeding the burner. Lift it up and give it a good inspection (with the breaker off). You may need to replace the burner recepticle.
