When ever i download or play .vob files in my hp dv2910tx laptop ,it restarts automatically & the speed of running get slower.whwt will i do?
Actually, VLC Media Player is compatible with VOB format. But now the question is a lot users have reflected that VLC Media Player fails to play the VOB files beautifully. The general questions can be listed below:
1. VLC Media Player won't play the sound of VOB files. During the playback, it can only play the picture of VOB files without the sound.
2. Only the choppy VOB playback can be presented. VLC can play the VOB files, but the playback may freeze, skip ahead and can only play for a few seconds. The VOB files can't be played smoothly.
3. VLC Media Player won't play VOB files on Windows 10. In comparison, if you are trying to play VOB file on Windows Operating System, some issues may happen, for example, the VOB file won't be played accordingly. It only appears to load the file, instead of playing the file directly.

It is highly possible that the player that you use is not compatible with VOB format. So you can try getting a free VOB player that can support vob format. You could tryLeawo Blu-ray Player. Leawo Blu-ray Player could provide you quality-lossless image for even 4K video, stereo audio enjoyment, all regions free DVD decryption and user-oriented playback control so that you can play any high-quality movie and play Blu-ray or DVD across the region.
Hi there,
I can play .vob files with a cool media player called VLC player, which plays everything I throw at it. I recommend you download it from here:
http://www.videolan.org/vlc/
and when you install it, set the File Associations to play everything with VLC, that'll let you double click on a .vob file and play it automatically.
VLC has a much lighter 'footprint' than Windows Media Player, or Nero or many DVD players, and has amazing codec-support already included.
If the .vob files are encrypted, then maybe that is slowing down your laptop, but that is not the only reason for this to happen.
If it still restarts automatically, you may have picked up malware from downloaded movies, and need to download Spybot and scan and immunize your hard drive. Spybot is completely free. Trust me, i don't like paying for things :)
It's also possible that you need to clean up your registry and your drive with a free program called ncleaner. you can find that here:
http://www.nkprods.com/ncleaner/
I suspect you will be successful with VLC player, though. Enjoy your movies :)
