I have a vivicam 8025 camera , I just ordered a new Vivicam camera charger, I plugged it in and there is a red light, and the MSDC screen is up, what does the MSDC screen mean ? and what does the red light mean ? Thankks(:
The MSDC indicates that the camera has recognized it's connected to a computer.
The red light indicates that the camera's battery is charging.

My roommate had the same problem, pretty easy to fix. Make sure your memory card and battery are all the way in and they should lock. If you lost the booklet, the positive/geative signs should be on the bottom right when sliding it in.
