Backlight LED lamps are bad, replace the strip and also replace the two 47mfd @ 100V capacitors to 100MFD@100V in the LED driver section of the power supply..this should keep this from happening again down the road.
Ok... This is the stupidest, most Temecula answer EVVVVER... BUT it off pure frustration, here is my temporary fix...I taped (using super strong duct tape) a some to the HDMI button then powered on the TV, and TADA...I can watch TV again, at least until I replace the fuka!
The power supply regulator section is not working properly. It will be best to replace this board as card basis rather than trying to make it right. Philips have used some special numbered components there, which are very difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. Contact the nearest authorized service center for Philips to buy a new board.

You will see firmware information on the right hand side of the screen. Please open and read the Firmware Upgrade Read Me file. These contain instructions and the update history of this model TV. Underneath the Read me file you will find the download link. You must follow the instructions in the read me file or you risk damaging your unit further.
This is from the read me: The set is switched OFF/shut down by itself after a few hours turning ON.
