Receiving fax but not printing ricoh ac104

The data transmitted during a voice call and a fax transmission are converted to digital pulses in the same way, so sending is not the problem. The problem is at the receiving end. A receiving fax device has to be set to pick up the call before the voice call device, as it is the prompt of the fax transmission signal that makes the receiving fax switch from send or idle to receive mode.

So, if you are faxing over the internet the intended recipient's setup is a complicating factor.

Since faxing to landline fax machines via VOIP would incur a charge, you might consider a cheaper software solution such as eFax (www.efax.com), which enables the receiver to receive the fax as a PDF document attached to an e-mail.

TD sensor error

Symptom: The TD sensor outputs less than 0.5V
or more than 4.0V 10 times
consecutively during copying.

Possible Cause: • TD sensor abnormal
• Poor connection of the PCU

You can't. Depends on the quality of prints and how many copies you use. You have to test the first time putting a start date and then compare. Some programs allow you to count how many pages you printed. That would be an alternative more accurate

yes it takes too long to do this. this is a result or goverment polices, energy star rating. you can not resolve this.

Disconnect the printer and leave scanner cover open (when printer is disconnected.) When connecting printer after 10 minutes shut the scanner cover before turning the printer back on and putting the plugs back in.

this problem is mostly reported when you refill the toner incorrectly.
flush out the whole toner(not with water) just shake it upside down.
now refill it.

if it doesnt work try cleaning the terminals of toner catridge and the terminal of the printer

Using "on hook" you should hear a dial tone, if you have one then dial a known good fax number. It could also be in manual receive mode. -Carl

I believe it has a 'quick blow' fuse on the front, left side, that needs to be replaced to reset toner counter.

you need to replace the toner cartridge and or the fuse on the toner cartridge
