Unable to print photos

I am not having any problems with my computer but I am having trouble with my HP Officejet J6480 All-in-One. When I try to print a picture from my computer to a photo paper, I always get a paper jam. Is there another setting on my printer to print pictures that I should be on?

My mother board had to be replaced on my pc that

I always use HP printers and every time i get a new operating system (vista, win7 etc) the HP software does not fully install. I go to HP.com to install the latest software for the appropriate OS but rarely get more than just the printer working. If i require the scanner or cd print features i have to do that from an older computer or older operating system that the printer was originally installed on.

Wireless printing

hi vlewis, if you are trying to print directly from your Pavillion to your Officejet wirelessly, you should set an AdHoc type of connection. but if you have a wireless router that you are connecting to, you should have an Infrastructure type of wireless connection. here are some key points you may need to look at.

AdHoc (PC to Computer wireless printing)

1.make sure that the wireless adapter on both devices are turned on.
2.the wireless network name or the SSID should be the same with both devices.
3.you will have to set the same wireless security (like WEP or WPA depending on the capability of the devices)
4.install the printer drivers and utility and make sure that your printer utility shows connection to the computer

-voodoomox

i will follow this one up for infrastructure.
