Manual says that camera only supports up to 512MB. Just tried it with a 2GB card now--gives a "Card Full" error.

Pictures cant be viewed says no image-then wont take pics says card full?

try the memory card in a card reader and plug it into a computer. see if the computer can detect the card and the contents in it. if it does detect it then that means there is a problem with the camera not recognizing the card or files in it. if it does not detect it in the computer that means the memory card of the camera is the one having problems.

Vivitar vivicam 3785 new memory card

Might be that the card is too large/small for camera to recognize, or it is a newer type of memory. Look up the specs for camera and compare to stats of memory card.

Memory Error

I had the same problem but fixed it by following the camera's directions to re-format the SD memory. You will lose all pictures on the memory card so remember to first save your pictures to your computer. Good luck.
