When this switch was turned off my tv was cut off
When I try to cut the TV back on the color would be green if it was on but it statys red and I cant get the tv to power back up
the DVD player and the satellite are working
Please help me I havent had this TV but 4 months
Send the unit to manufacturer for replacement.

These units have a separate switching power supply that does indeed get very hot. What I have found is that a 1000mF@25v capacitor goes bad in the power supply and needs to be replaced. If your set's red power light turns green for just a second and then turns back to red without the set turning on, this may very well be your problem. You can either try to find another power supply (make sure it's rated at 12v-5amp) or take your old one to a repair shop. Be very careful if you decide to try a repair yourself, switching power supplies can pack quite a punch.

First I would run a dvd cleaner in unit! Second you could take tv apart and look to see if signal cable is loose. the power wire seem fine as it powers up, and accepts an eject dvd.

The red white and yellow cables are composite connections. The red/green/blue connections are component connections.
The playstation's composite connections consist of two audio connections- red & white, and a composite yellow video connection. The TV's white connection is the audio, and the red/green/blue are component video. You need an adapter that will connect the one yellow(composite video) to the three red/green/blue (component video) connections

Power has shut off completely - won`t turn on at the top or with the remote. We replaced the batteries in the converter as we had been having trouble changing channels a few weeks ago. Now, nothing. TV is 18 months old!!! Help.
