Unable to copy dvd's

I have a Dell Inspiron 6000. I am unable to copy dvd's of any type. Is my computer capable of copying dvd's and if so what dvd formatt do I use? I have tried to copy a dvd presentation and after I copy the dvd, and insert the blank dvd, I get a message to insert a blank dvd. I have tried several times with the same result. I am using a DVD+R blank disc. Thanks, Mike

Hi.

If you want to copy your DVD, you need to use some professional DVD copiers. Here Leawo DVD Copy will be recommended. It is a powerful DVD backup tool for people to back up their DVD contents with ease. It's capable of backing up DVD disc, folder and ISO image files. It can remove DVD disc protection thus allowing you to back up whatever disc you like freely. You can use it to back up your DVD disc to either your hard drive or a blank disc or directly copy ISO image file to a blank DVD disc.

Most dell machines do no come with dvd rewriting as standard. They only come with cd rewriting capability. Unless you specifically requested it as an add on to the spec it probably just has the ability to pay dvd's.

Most internet cafe's will have a machine with a dvd rewriter if you really need to copy a dvd

Dell inspiron laptop doesnt recognize battery

I did a bit of research on the internet (Google mostly), and noticed several articles regarding the Inspiron and their batteries. You could be having a faulty battery or a problem with the computer Without more information or specific errors I would like you to try running diagnostics from Dell website. You may also try connecting the battery to another Inspiron 6000 laptop and see if the problem follows the battery. You could also check the voltage of the power supply.

We have a Dell Inspiron 1545...The DVD player says we have a Region error unable to play DVD because it does not match the region code on your disc player.... Must insert a disc created fro your region...

If you have some region-locked DVDs and you can't play on your DVD player, you can remove the region code by just get a dvd copy disc without region codese. You can try Leawo Blu-ray Copy which enables you to remove region code from Blu-ray and DVD.
