Plug the AV television output cable that should have been included with the box your phone came in.
Now plug the cable into your phone and connect it to your TV.
The cable allows you to use your TV as an external screen and from there on you can save your contacts to your SIM card. You can now see and use your phone but while using your TV as a screen.
Now to copy the contacts from the phone to the SIM card, just go to Contacts > mark the contacts you want to copy to your SIM card and then press Options > then scroll down to Copy and it will allow you to copy to either SIM directory, copy to Mass memory or copy from Mass memory. Just select Copy to SIM memory and there you go !
I work at the T-Mobile Corporate store, ive seen this many times with customers. What happened is that your contacts are stored onto your old phones memory because that's the default save location. You can take it to the nearest Tmobile store and they will move the contacts from your old phone to your sim card then to your cliq.
Just format your phone by the following way
To Format the phone
1)Switch off the phone
2)Hold 3,* and Green button simultaneously
3)Now press the power button holding the 3 button, After 5 seconds leave the 3 buttons
4)You phnoe should say, formatting and all your data would be reset to factory orginal
CAUTION: You will loose all the data and contacts stored in phone memory, But this is the only way
N95 does not save contacts to sim automatically. But onnce you have saved a contact to your phone memory, then you can select OPTION and MARK the contact and then OPTION again and select copy to sim. You can do 1 or multiple contact copy to sim. But remember that the sim card holds only 250 numbers
You'll probably find they're already on the sim, if not here's how to copy them over.
Open contacts, options, SIM contacts, SIM directory; you should see all contacts that are on your sim. If there's none there, select back which will take you to your contacts; choose options again, scroll to mark/unmark press select then mark all, all contacts should now have a tick beside then. Then options again, copy & lastly to sim directory.
the n95 saves the contact in a file format that allows the device to "back up" the contacts. The device that you are switching to must have this same feature otherwise it wont work that way. you will be better off copying the numbers to your sim card and simply placing that sim card in your new device. or you can try to transfer them through bluetooth
