I was opening the washing machine door, after the wash had completed its cycle as normal, when the opening handle broke off. I cannot get the door open. Does anyone have any suggestions?
There r 2 ways to get the door open 1)use a normal knife and place in front of the door handle push it in and it should open 2)pull the plug out take the lid off now place your hand down to where the catch goes into the washer using your fingers u should be able to pop it open with a bit off fiddling
u need to take all the screws from around the inside of thed door to replace any part for the handle once u undue the screws it should pull apart easy m8

Thankyou for the advice the knife worked first go. I have purchased a newhandle and cannot workout how to replace it. Surely I don't need to take apart the whole thing? Can u offer any advice? The handle is basically a piece of plastic & a small metal tube goes through the handle to hold it in place. I cannot see logically how this can occur without taking the whole thing apart. Can you offer any advice?
