According to SharpUSA the problem with the "Loss of Sync" error message is that (most probably) the cables (between the box and the display) are not connected properly (so remove and reconnect them carefully, on both units) or a cable is defective.
Also, after you reconnect the cables try turning on the unit, if no success then depress the "clear" button on the external box (under the door on the front and on the bottom left and try turning on the TV again).
It is, most likely, that the cables are not seated properly. Reseat the cables on both the display and the external box.
Hopefully, this will clear the problem
if still does not solves your problem just replace all the cables connected between .u can get the new cables at radioshack web site.just place an order they will provide you.
thanks.
What I am seeing here has to do with devices plugged in from the outside, wrong diagnosis for some of us. I have the LC-37HV4U, This set has only the power cord attached. Yet when I turn the set on or off, sometimes a short flash of white light, then a dialogue box shows up in the upper left portion of the screen, Loss of Sync. The only buttons that function are the power on/offs.

I have the same experience with loss of sync error message on the upper-left corner. There will appear the error message about every 2-3 weeks. However, the problem could be easily soved by reset TV although I think is not a root solution.Technically speaking, I think this is a Firmware bug, however, it is rarely for end-user to upgrade TV firmware. I will try to contact the company for any official solution.
Dear sir when i turn on my sharp LC-32G1m tv i saw screen show the message from left corner loss of sync how this problem solve help me thank u
That means your tv has lost your cable signal or imput signal check all this connection to see and unplug in for 10 min and plug it back
Unplug tv for 5 min then return plug ...press and hold power button for ten seconds (This should reset the unit!)
Hi There, Im not sure what inputs you are using vga/dvi/ av/ rf etc. In your tv theres a IC that syncronices your display timing etc. This is a advance problem, you should take it to a repair shop to be fixed, they usualy have SMD componants that cant be replaced with a solder Iron.
But Check following first.
PLease let me know
Thank you
You need to take it to a shop an d have it repaired
