JVC KD-G396 wont Play any cd or mp3 PLEASE HELP

You need to look through the JVC KD-R210 manual.
A JVC Dealer / Installer may have seen a similar problem & suggest remedy.

The wiring diagram is on the second page of the installation manual.

How do I install a set or a sub to this head unit with only one wire output marked sub,I'm not sure if may amp will play correct.

The section on setting up the clock is surprisingly short... it's found on Page 6 -

1 Hold on the SEL button
2 These options are changed using a combination of the UP, DOWN, PREVIOUS & NEXT buttons along with the Volume Knob. (This is shown with a picture, I'm just trying to translate and interpret what I think they're trying to communicate)
1 Canceling the display demonstrations
Select “DEMO,” then “DEMO OFF.”
2 Setting the clock
Select “CLOCK H” (hour), then adjust the hour.
Select “CLOCK M” (minute), then adjust the
minute.
3 Finish the procedure - by pressing the SEL button.

Did you know there is a fuse on the back of the radio and one on the amp? Have you checked them? If the radio is working and no ssound it could be the radio, speakers or wiring. In your case it sounds like either the radio or speakers.

Make sure if equipped with stock amp to hook up remote wire ti harness.

unfortunately the jvc radio model # kd-g140 will not play mp3 on a cd disk- it will play a mp3 player thru the aux jack on the front of the head unit- please rate my help

I had this same problem and realized after reading the manual that this model does not play mp3's. They use the same manual for the g140 and the g240 (the model which plays mp3s).
