Hi my amp ( Earthquake Mono block 2000 watt digital amp TNT t2000wd1 IS haveing a problem with the protection light going on..i guess it all started when i took a hard turn my amp is bolted down so nothing hit it but idk what happend...i removed all wiring and just had the wires to power it up and still had the protection light on...could it be that i have the wrong 2 fuses connected cause i bought new ones which where 25's and i dont got the manuel to double check it.
When you made that hard turn your volts on your amp drop, cause it to go
on to protection? and also your driving the amp with not enought current? steady 13 volts you need!!
the fuse on the amp are just to protect it, you should always fuse it with another line fuse
same ratting 50 amp!! what ever the size it has on the out side..
If that does not work send it to the factory ..
Same thing happened to me a while back it is one of the reistors inside the amp, when you took the turn it anything bumped it or it fell it might have broken off, shake it and see if anything inside rattles, if so then you need to take it to a repair shop or some who can solder
