  1. Click Start where it says Add / Remove Applications.
  2. Type your password, if prompted, and click OK.

  4. Once the application is in the Device Application Selection list, verify it is selected, and click Next.
  5. On the Completing the Application Loader screen, verify the software to install is listed under Applications to be Installed or Updated, and click Finish.
If you are using BlackBerry Desktop Manager version 4.0 to 4.3then you need to follow this steps:

  1. Connect the BlackBerry smartphone to the computer.
  2. In BlackBerry Desktop Manager, open the application loader tool.
  3. In the Application Loader Wizard, click Next.
  4. Type your password, if prompted, and click Next.
  5. In the Handheld Application Selection screen, click Add. Go to the directory of the application you want to add, select the <application>.alx file, and click Open.
  6. Once the application is in the Handheld Application Selection list, verify it is selected, and click Next.
  7. On the Completing the Application Loader screen, verify the software to install is listed under Applications to be Installed or Updated, and click Finish.
  8. Once the application is installed on the BlackBerry smartphone, click Close in the Application Loader Wizard.

You should verify that the application to be installed on the BlackBerry smartphone is saved to the computer before completing the following steps.
If you are using BlackBerry Desktop Manager version 4.5 to 5.0 then you need to follow this steps:
  1. Connect the BlackBerry smartphone to the computer.

Getting error message when opening Micros Office 2003 Edition "Please run set up to install this application".

i) when you install Microsoft Office 2003 Edition some of the application will not be installed  then

there, .......when you are about use such applications  it will give an message: "Please run set up to

install this application", in such cases if you have Microsoft Office 2003 Edition CD try to put it in the CD

Tray  and installation will continue and application will installed and the problem will not persist again.

to install any application u need to attach the phone via cable with ur phone using active sync..then run the application on the pc it will get installed automatically on the pda.
