How long have you had it? Just call Verizon and you can get a warranty replacement if it's been under a year. Sounds like a manufacturers defect to me.
I have a Verizon Casio Gz1 cell phone that has had my unlock password reset. My son was watching movie on it & did more then just watched his movie. He probably didn't know he did it, not on purpose anyways. HOW DO I JAIL BREAK IT?? I WANT TO "HARD RESET" PHONE COMPLETELY.
The same thing happened to my Gz One Boulder. I sent it back to Verizon for replacement. The 2nd Gz One Boulder also had problems with the charging port within 2 weeks after I got it so I sent it back too.
I am now on my 3rd Gz One Boulder. I've only had it 2 days. Time will tell if the charging port on this one will hold up. Frankly I doubt it.
My best advise to you is get a different phone if you have the opportunity to do so.
access your account online and block all of those things in your plan options, or you can call verizon wireless and tell them all the things that you listed here and they will have your phone block them
I would call Verizon Wireless from a Land Line Phone, when you call tech support they would rather you did that so that they can control the phone if need be.
