So, we at least know it's a 11088752, and there's a few variations of what can come after it....

These different models all seem to have different numbers for their timer--both for the washer and dryer timer, since each part of the unit has its own. Look inside the door, you should see the full model number.

With that, you can go to http://www.searspartsdirect.com search for that model and the right parts will show.

how do i remove knob from kenmore washer

Hi there,

We had the same problem and I pulled the unit out and discovered the dryer lint vent pipe was kinked inside the wall and full of water. It took be a full day of work but I ran a new vent pipe up into the attic and up to a static vent and now the dryer works great.

We had a service guy from Sears come out and he tested the heater strips and said they were fine and suggested I work on clearning the lint vent pipe

It worked great.

remove the top panel and each fin has 2 5/16 screws holding them to the drum. turn the drum so the fin is on top and remove the screws then remove the coins

Check and make sure the power is on at the breaker box, or fuses.

Start at the power source.
