Hi, I have the tag heuer indi 500 formula one watch, how do I get the second hand to rotate?

If its a quatz movement - could it be that your battery needs replacing? This is a feature of my Tag 6000 so I assume yours is the same.

mcdevito75 here, It sounds like the (larger) minute hand is leaning against the (smaller) hour hand, stopping the time telling past 11:20 while the seconds hand keeps going. You"ll have to see a Watch repair person and have them look at your watch. Best Bet, look for a small watch repair shop in your area.

Either the watch is faulty, in which case you need to return it to the store which you bought it, Tag Heuer are very good at fixing their watches. If you bought it elsewhere, check that it is genuine, before sending it anywhere, because if not a genuine Tag Heuer, you may not get it back. I'm guessing its a Quartz model, which are difficult to repair but simple and cheap to replace, which is what they will do (Tag/Jewellers) if its an Automatic model, then it will be repaired quite quickly, as very simple to do. are you sure you didn't just stop the chronograph?

Might need cleaning, oiling or other servicing ...

Has your display got a flashing display "BT" at the right hand side of the display? If it has, then it means that the battery needs replacing.

Go to the Tagheuer web site (www.tagheuer.com/)

Select "watches"

Select "Tag Heuer Formula 1"

Select "men"

Select "Tag heuer F1 chronometer"

On the right hand side of the screen you will a menu and the user manual is the last iten on the list.

Unscrew the crown like you are setting the time. Make sure the time shown on the watch is not around 12 o'clock. If it is change the time to around 6 o'clock.

Then pull the crown out to the first click. Turn the crown to advance the date. When finished push the crown back in and screw it down tight.

Unscrew the crown and press the lower button, this should advance the minute counting hand one press ata time. Pull ot the crown a further stop to advance the seconds hand and again to advance the tenths counter.
