Remote instructions needed

You can easily copy all your IR remotes into one in seconds with 5 easy steps.
1. Press and hold the device button to program such as TV1 for your first TV. (Remote lights up)
2. Press the button on your original remote to copy while pointing it at the jumbo remote. (Remote light flashes)
3. Press the button on the jumbo remote to save the signal into. (Remote light flashes)
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 to copy more buttons.
5. Press the device button you pressed in step 1 to stop learning and you're done!

You will need the direction manual and or code book for that remote. You may be able to find a copy of it online if you do not have it. Every remote has it's own group of codes for each television manufacturer. So With the instructions it will tell you how to set the remote to accept a code for each device. This is usually a matter of selecting the device by pressing the device button and holding for a few seconds or pressing device button and then the code set buttton or finally holding the device button and another button at the same time for a few seconds. It looks like a Directv remote from the picture so you can find the instructions for them at the Directv websight.
Once you set the remote for accepting a code you then enter a series of numbers usually some set of 3 to 5 numbers and then test whether the power and other functions work. These numbers are of course listed in the instructions code section. You may need to hit the device button again to lock in the correct code. Of course if the first code you try does not work you repeat the preperation for accepting codes and then try with the next code that is listed for your tv manufacturer. If none work you may be able to follow instructions for random code search or if your remote is older than the TV it may not have the code for your TV and in that case it simply will not be able to control the TV.

black screen means that you need to change the input or it is not hooked up correctly with the cabling. if no "input, a/v, source or tv/video" button on tv itself will need to purchase universal remote. if you do have one of those buttons continue to push it several times pausing a few seconds in between and look for a picture. also you can try channeling up or down to ch 3 or 4 or sometimes even channeling down/up will change the different inputs (depends on the tv) hope this helps

The frame is supposed to say that. It just means you have given up control of your frame to your computer. When you disconnect the frame from the computer, you can use the remote control again.

My son gave this to me for Christmas to use for my new Theater system, he's returned to Iraq unable to ask him where the CD or instructions are and what all of these buttons mean.Please note that I am 74 years old and can figure it out if I had the instructions

Tried to use my TV as a computer monitor. When tries to boot up, will go to "No Signal". All hooked up correct. Is ther something I need to do tobe able to use the monitor with my computer. I have a Dell Desk Top Computer.
