Printer goes through stages of printing, tells the computer what percentage of document has been printed, but nothing is actually printed. I get a totally blank sheet of paper. I am writing a research paper and need HELP to print it. I am assuming that this service is free; otherwise, I cannot use it.
The Z715 needs a #50 black ink cartridge and a working color cartridge to print. To check if there ios ink coming out of your black or color cartridge touch the bottom of it to a paper towel and if you see a solid black blob or 3 blobs of Yellow, blue and red for the color then your problem is else where. If U are printing stuff from the internet sometimes the printer will try to use the color cartridge to print this so even though the black is working it comes out blank if the color is dry

the ink nozzles on the cartridges are clogged. first try cleaning them using a alcohol-soaked Q-tip against the shiny part where ink comes out (remove cartridges first). if still no ink, cartridges may be out of ink, so either replace or re-fill them.

Clogged, or dirty plunger in this units printhead.. You need to check and clear the clogged unit.. Tihs printer is going to need service..

The feed rollers might be dirty from the ink. Try cleaning them with a Q-TIP with a little isopropyl alcohol.

Does the ink print head move while it tries to print ?
Is there ink in the printer ?
Did ink cartridge need plastic seal of some kind to be removed ?
Try cleaning printer head in printer properties on p.c ?
