There are treats that
are better to buy smaller dogs. I have a
Boston terrier and also bought him small dog-specific treats. I will send you a few links; however you can
also go to a local pet store and they will help you out. http://www.sojos.com/products/dog-treats/good-dog-treats http://www.cesar.com/cuisine-and-treats/treats/filet-mignon.aspx
I advise you to be around him while he's chewing a rawhide treat
and take away small pieces in order to minimize the risk of him being choked by
it.
Treats used while training should be small in size. I highly recommend small treats with good
natural flavors. My favorite treats are
from Foster & Smith, I will send you the link for great training treats.
