No CD Rom for 2035 set up can i DOWNLOAD

To resolve this issue, use the Windows XP Recovery Console to replace the Msvcrt.dll file with the original version. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Insert your Windows XP CD-ROM into the computer's CD-ROM drive or DVD-ROM drive, and then restart your computer from the CD-ROM.
   
   NOTE: Some computers may require that you modify the basic input/output system (BIOS) settings before you can start the computer from a CD-ROM. For information about how to modify BIOS, see your computer documentation.
2. At the Welcome to Setup screen, press R to start the Recovery Console.
3. Press the number key that corresponds to the installation that you want to repair, and then press ENTER.
4. Type the Administrator password, and then press ENTER.
5. With the Windows XP CD-ROM still in the CD-ROM drive or DVD-ROM drive, type the following commands, pressing ENTER after each command:
   • cd system32
   • ren msvcrt.dll msvcrt.old
   • CD-ROM_or_DVD-ROM_Drive_Letter:
   • cd \i386
   • expand msvcrt.dl_ BootDriveLetter:\windows\system32
   • exit
   NOTE: BootDriveLetter refers to the drive letter of the boot drive. In other words, it refers to the drive where the Windows folder is located, which is probably drive C. CD-ROM_or_DVD-ROM_Drive_Letter refers to the drive letter of the CD-ROM or the drive letter of the DVD-ROM drive. The CD-ROM drive or the DVD-ROM drive are frequently located in drive D.

download the latest version of driver fro win 7.run the software and then connnect the machine to laptop when it asks to.thats it

Place your system disk in the CD/DVD Rom tray.
Power up the desktop and boot from the CD/DVD Rom.
Follow the prompts and use the Replace System choice in the menu.

If it won't boot from the DVD/CD Rom, Enter the BIOS menu and set the first boot device as CD/DVD Rom then try again.
When installed, download the latest drivers from Dell.com. That will ensure that you have the very latest tried and tested drivers.

Make sure you set the BIOS to boot on the CD rom first. You can set it via the BIOS utility. Usually you press the F5 key and then go to boot options. And then place your CD ROM drive on the 1st boot priority.
Make sure also that your CD installer is working and not from a bad ISO download.

Even if you don't have driver for CD-DVD ROM with the Operating System,your BIOS must recognize the CD ROM.Set the BIOS to Default setting and check it recognise now.Check if you have disable anything related to CD ROM in your BIOS. Remove your CD Rom and place it again and check.

Drive light comes because of power supply to the CD-ROM.

Insert the recovery CD in your CD-ROM,Set your BIOS to boot from CD-ROM,then follow the Instruction.

Note : Restoring your system with Recovery disk will erase your entire Operating drive data.Make sure you backup your data (if you think it has  imporatnt data) before going for recovery.

Just clikc the download button and extract the file using Winzip or Winrar.

Burn the ISO files with Nero or MagicISO or PowerISO in a CD.

Boot the system using that CD (set the First Boot Device as CD-DVd ROM in BIOS).

Select "Start Mini Windows XP"

then copy all the important files to another media.
