Panasonic kx-t7730 plays music when phone receiver is on phone

my fx-t7730 does not receive any ring on receive any incoming call and also not dial mobile number. Please help me.

Here are two methods to turn off background music, one of these should work depending on which Panasonic phone system your phone is connected to.

1) With phone idle, press the 1 key on the dial pad (turns off background music when it is on and turns on background music when it is off).


2) With phone idle, press intercom button then dial *751 on the dial pad followed by 0 on the dial pad to turn off background music(confirmation tone will be heard) and end by lifting handset and replacing in cradle. To turn background music on, press intercom button then dial *751 on the dial pad followed by 1 or 2 on the dial pad to select the background music source(confirmation tone will be heard) and end by lifting handset and replacing in cradle.

Dial *751 then 0 to cancel background music.

Press "1".

If someone pressed "1", it will play your hold music. Just press "1" again to deactivate.

While the hanset is still on the cradle press 1 to activate / deactivate the music

walk up to the phone and without touching anything else, press "1".

No music.

It would play music if you had a music source plugged into the cabinet.

Without picking up the handset, press "1". Your humming should stop. It's the command for Background Music ON/OFF.

JUST PUSH 1 WHEN RECEIVER IS ON HOOK.

Press 1 to turn off BGM (background music).

If your phone does not have a dedicated Music button it is usually the HOLD button. Try the hold button first (with the phone hung up) if that does not work look for a button labeled music or possibly a soft key (key's labeled by an LCD display)
