Which thermostats goes where in a creda simplicity tumble dryer

When it comes to installing a thermostat in a Creda Simplicity tumble dryer, it can be a bit of a tricky task. But don't worry, we've got you covered! Here's a step-by-step guide to help you get the job done quickly and easily.
First, you'll need to locate the thermostat. It's usually located on the back of the dryer, near the top. Once you've found it, you'll need to remove the screws that hold it in place.
Next, you'll need to disconnect the wires from the old thermostat. Make sure to note which wire goes where, as you'll need to reconnect them to the new thermostat.
Once the wires are disconnected, you can remove the old thermostat and replace it with the new one. Make sure to connect the wires to the new thermostat in the same order as before.
Finally, you'll need to secure the new thermostat in place with the screws. Once that's done, you're all set!
Installing a thermostat in a Creda Simplicity tumble dryer may seem like a daunting task, but with a few simple steps, you can get the job done in no time. Now that you're an expert, you can tell your friends: "I'm the thermostat whisperer!"

Thermostat needs replaced

To replace a thermostat, you will need at least: 1. A new thermostat 2. Screwdriver 2. Needle-nosed pliers. Depending on the thermostat and location in your home, you may need more. Make sure the new thermostat you are using to replace the old one with is compatible to your 110-volt housing circuitry. Always turn off the electrical power to the home thermostat at the power panel or circuit breaker box.--------------------------------------------------------------------------

How do i wire analog thermostat to digital

You need to get a different thermostat.you can change an analog thermostat to digital, but you have to replace the motherboard with a digital compliant one. You can't just change the thermostat. Your best bet is to put back the old thermostat or upgrade to a different compatable thermostat

Hi smargyle,

Welcome to fixya!

I can provide you with diagrams for the old Carrier therm and for the new Filtrete therm. But, I would need to know what the model numbers are for each therm plus how many speeds AC you have.

Please reply back with that information and we will get your AC back in working order.

Thanks,

You need talking with the parts guy at the GM dealer You need the "new" style thermostat housing to be able to change just the thermostat. So I ordered a new thermostat housing assembly. Here is what I got, a new aluminum two piece housing and thermostat. Hopefully tomorrow I can get this car back on the road and out of my shop.

I bought a Honeywell programmable thermostat RTH2310 to replace my 10 year old Honeywell thermostat. My old thermostat is a 4 wire system but also has a jumper from Y to 1. New system does not tell me what...

It depends on the type of thermostat you have.
Do you have a 4 wire or 5 wire T'stat?
The red jumper wire was for a 5 wire t'stat with 1 transformer, the red jumper actually should have been from R to 1.
So you need to trace the wires back to the furnace and make sure they go to the locations identified below.
if you have a 4 wire t'stat then you don't need that jumper, if you have a 5 wire t'stat then you do need that jumper but it should go from Rh to Rc.
4 Wire Termostat
R = Red One Side of 24 volt Transformer
G = Green Blower
Y = Yellow Cool
W = White Heat
5 Wire Thermostat
with one transformer for both units
Rc One Side of 24 volt Transformer
Rh Jumper Rc to Rh
G = Green Blower
Y = Yellow Cool
W = White Heat
t'stat?

Honeywell Electric Baseboard Heater thermostat

You need to take the wires off the thermostat. And touch the red and white wire together. If the heater works then you need a new thermostat, if it does not work then you need a new ignitor. It all depends on the t-stat. Dont worry about the wires there are not enough volts to hurt you. It is milli volts so just touch them together and the unit should fire up
