You need files in setup. Extract to floppy (all of
them) F6 at setup.
add a floppy drive..
or create another XP setup disk and place SCSI
driver accordinly.
You may have to take out the HDD - find the drivers
for that HDD at western digical -
m5287.sys

copied those files in a floppy inside a folder "WIN_XP".. then during setup
f6 for driver selection..
then i just located tat floppy for drivers and my drive thus got
recognised
