Am not able to adjust the focus ring in my webcam

Twist the ring around the lens to focus it.
Don't force it - Just try to turn it. Use a program where you can see yourself. (Skype has test feature) Then adjust focus to clearest picture.

Also check for finger print on lens..

1) Check if there is a ring on the lens that you can adjust to sharpen the focus, 2) try the tips in the article How To Improve Your Webcam Video Quality.

Some webcams have a focus ring around the lens that you rotate others rely on the software for a good focal length
Launch your Logitech toolbar from the desktop or from 'All programs'
Click on the 'Quick Capture' menu (2 photo frames picture) to start your webcam.
With the webcam running click on the 'Settings' menu (2 gearwheels picture)
Here you can adjust all your settings to achieve the best image

Check if there is a manual focus ring on the front of the webcam lens. You can go to the free webcam test tool and adjust the lens focus until you are happy with how it looks.

if your webcam’s image is not sharp, check to see if it has a focus ring. A blurry image can sometimes simply mean the webcam is not in focus. Adjusting the focus through the ring can solve that problem.
If it Doesnt work try to change video capture properties for webcam.Most of the programs have an option to access the properties of the video source which will bring up the video capture properties window. (Msn, Yahoo Etc.)

Try adjusting the focus ring around the lens. Poor quality try adjusting room lighting or you may need to upgrade to a better webcam.

I believe the ring around the eye moves and will focus.

Rotate the ring around the lens to adjust the focus until you get a sharp picture.

Did you make sure the lens was clean? Wipe lens off the reset the webcam to its default settings. Slowly adjust the focus ring for best effect then adjust the video settings.

There are basically 2 adjustment can be made to focus your webcam, 1st is by the webcam software, try to search from the software any feature that can focus your webcam. The 2nd is the mechanical adjustment on the webcam itself, try to rotate the focus ring (webcam's eye) and see how the picture improvement.
