Bosch Axxis Washer WFL2060 leaking when filling

Hi,
We have had our bosch WFL2060 washer stored for the past year, in our unheated garage (temperatures drop below freezing here). We recently hooked it up in our vacation home and when we hooked the water up and turned the washer on, water began leaking from underneath the machine.

Could something have cracked and need to be replaced? thank you!

Caroline

Bosch Axxis Washer WFL2060 UC Fills won't rotate.Replaced Belt, started but stopped mid cycle. Replaced door switch, no rotation.

The motor probably isn't working - I suggest you begin by checking the brushes, which wear out and need replacing periodically.

What does F02 fault mean?

Hello elaineginolf, welcome to Fixya. Error code "02" typically indicates a lock problem. Since not all models are the same can you clarify the model of Bosch you have ? The post category says WFL2060 but that can't be since that model has no display and faults are indicated by way of led lights flashing in a set pattern. Could it be a WFR2460 with the digital LED display ? Let me know and I'll see if I can assist you from there. Macmarkus :)

Bosch Axxis WFL2060 stopped working on a wash cycle. The first time I used liquid HE detergent. I am sure I put too much in and the interior foamed up, the detergent tray foamed up and came out underneath...

water in base after overfoaming has leak detection if you can tip machine back this water will run onto floor allowing unit to rest, make sure you put down some rags towel etc to trap water there will be up to a pint of water.

Bosch Axxis WFL 2060 washer leaks

Hi. Check the doorseal by lifting the folded lip which faces toward the drum opening. Use a torch and carefully examine the doorseal. It may have a small hole which is hard to see at first.
If door seal is ok remove top of machine and check inlet valve. Turn power off and with your hand examine the inlet water valve. If it feels damp on the solenoid then it leaks from there and finds its way around to the front of the machine though the frame work. This leak happens due to to much water pressure at your laundry taps. If so install a pressure reducing valve before the water inlet hose and replace the water inlet valve in the machine as it is now faulty.

Bosch washer leaking

First of all check the outer lip of the doorseal. It must be damage freein the lower half of the door opening. Then lift the folded part of the lip which faces towards the drum. Examine the doorseal with a torch. If any holes are evident the doorseal must be replaced. If you are in melbourne metro area you can call me on 0417362396.
