First remove any power cables and batteries(if laptop) from your system and hold down the power button for 15 seconds.

Plug the power cable back in & attempt to boot.
If this does not solve your problem then you will need to remove all non-essentials from your system.

If laptop, this simply consist of battery, ram, optical drive & any other removable bays or devices. Unplug all cables except the power cable & attempt to boot.

If desktop, you will need to remove any cables plugged into your computer except keyboard, mouse, power, video, sound, & network cable. Open the case & remove any PCI cards, except video cards, unless you have on-board video, unplug the data & power cables going to the optical & hard drives. Now attempt to boot. If you have no luck you can remove your RAM sticks & try again. If you get an error beep warning you about no ram then you might have a bad ram stick. If none of the above works then you may have a bad power supply or motherboard. Power supplies are pretty easy to test with tester or use a spare.

Why blinking yellow light and green light infront of cpu

Check if the signal cable for the display is connected and whether there is any kink that may break a wire inside the cable. If the circuit for display inside the computer is broken, most of the time you would hear beeping when turning on the computer.

Alienware Area-51 Desktop won't boot up long beep

The fan to the left of your RAM slots needs to spin, it may be the reason for your problem. If this is the CPU fan then you may have a dead CPU.

Contact a computer technician for repair or claim warranty support.

Take care!

I have a broken Dell Precision 470 Workstation. The symptoms are as follows: Won't power up; Flashing yellow power LED on front panel; Blank STR_LED on motherboard; Yellow AUX_PWR LED on motherboa

Flashing front powerlight is often a result of a faulty powersupply, try another powersully on the pc and see if the problem gets solved. I've seen a few of these cases personally.

I can't get the control panel to reset. The wash cycle light comes on but it just beeps and the dishwasher won't start. I press the start button and it stops beeping for a minute but it still...

II might need the actual model number. However, you can go to page 9 on this manual and check if the flashing options can fix the problem. I am assuming you have already tried to turn the power off and back on.

The ohter thing to try is the reset sequence. Within 6-7 secs press High Temp/ Heat Dry/ High Temp/ Heat Dry/ High Temp/ Heat Dry. All lights should light up, press Start button to exit.

The computer won't turn on

Try these steps if your computer won't turn on:

*You may or may not see a light on the back of your PC depending on the kind of power supply you have and the exact cause of the problem.(monitor light will likely be amber/yellow if your computer has stopped sending information to it)

*The power lights will stay on, you'll likely hear the fans inside your PC running, and you may or may not hear one or more beeps coming from the computer. If you hear beep sound, check your physical connections to the PC like RAM, Monitor, Cpu, Keyboard.
