In the summertime when its hot out, a/c air flow from the vents can start to slow down. When this happens there is a simple thing that all owners can do. Most vehicles today have a cabin air filter inside the vehicle. Most of these filters are easy to get to and change. Then there are some that take a bit more work. A cabin air filter is like a engine filter and works the same way. The cabin air filter catches outside air and debris that gets into the vehicle before it can get to the a/c evaporator. When these filters get dirty they restrict the airflow from the vents. When your airflow is not as good as it used to be, remove the cabin air filter and test the flow again with the filter out. If it changes and blows better, that means the cabin air filter needs to be changed

I assume you mean the cabin air filter. The engine air filter is easy, assuming you've changed one on any other car before (hint: it's a box with some clips on the right side). The cabin air filter is a bit more involved, see below.

manufacturers, you should replace your
cabin air filter every 12,000-15,000 miles or once a year.
Your Honda Odyssey comes with only 2 filters:
an engine intake air filter and a cabin filter.

To change cabin air filter on Acura TL firs time you need to open the glove box and then remove the arm that holds the glovebox. Press the 2 sides of the glovebox to take this out like in picture bellow. Acura TL 2004-2010 cabin air filter location After do this you can see and locate the cabin air filter housing cover. Acura TL 2004-2010 cabin air filter housing cover Push the 2 tabs from the filter frame to unhooking from the housing cover. Take the frame out and replace the old cabin air filter with the new one with the air flow indicating arrow pointing down.
