Will not rinse,i have to run cycle twice to get fabric conditioner inmotion

I suggest you read the operating instructions of your machine. I don't know of such a programme - most programmes include a rinse and spin though there is usually a delicates programme that is a short low temperature wash, leaves the tub full of water (to decrease creasing) until the programmer is advanced and then a short rinse and low speed spin.

Not sure what is special about a special sweater detergent except maybe it is so mild it might behave like soap and contains a fabric conditioner - hence no rinsing. Seems it could be a gimmick...

Best way of washing treasured woollens remains hand washing using soap if possible and rinse with fabric conditioner. Pull into shape while wet and dry flat.

Manually: If you're adding fabric conditioner by hand, be sure not to add it during the wash cycle. The washcycle will clean away much of the softener, so add it during the rinse cycle. Also, try to avoid direct contact with fabrics to avoid stains; instead, pour Downy into the deeper pockets of water.

pour a cup of ordinary vinegar into drum and uses rinse programme . Repeat Rinse programme without the vinegar which removes all types of sediment/limescale etc.,do this once weekly. should resove your problem

fabric conditioner is dispensed during rinse cycle, if it does not work then either, try pouring hot water into dispenser, as conditioner tends to get goopie when dry, thus may have clogged up

Not draining clean /filter located in sump hose ...Water not entering could be faulty solonoid valve...

Fabric softener is to slow mix with rinse water in the rinse cycle... check the cold water supply line for a clogged screen or a clogged dispenser box cover... hope it helps

Make sure that the conditioner compartment is not clogged up with undesolved conditioner, remove and thoroughly claen all parts
To test the conditioner is going through, fill it with water to the top of the compartment until the water starts to run out, it should then continue to run out until the compartment is empty, if it does not , then it is still blocked.. Do this before you put it back in the washer.
This should solve the prob.
