Brand new Frigidaire FGB24S5A Gas wall oven not registering corre

New FGB24S5A gas wall oven does not register correct temp. When preheating you can hear the burner cutting on and off. When it finally registers that it is preheated it is approx 75 degrees lower than the temp showing on the control panel. Never get up to the proper temp. I have checked the temp with two different oven therm. It took me 5 1/2 hours to cook the turkey on Thanksgiving. Is their adjustment to calibrate the temp. Bought this at Lowe's prior to Thanksgiving and the broiler would not come on and temp was wrong. They brought a replacement today, the broiler works but the oven temp control is doing the same thing and is 75 degrees off.

I purchased this unit at Lowes and they replaced it with the same model. It is doing the same thing. Is it normal for frigidaire ovens to fluctuate 75 degrees from the temp being shown on the temp gauge? We have tried to cook cakes, cookies and other things that were over cooked on one end end and under cooked on the other....The appliance service man that Lowes sent out says that it is not unusual for oven temp gauges to vary by 50 to 75 degrees?? How can you bake under those conditions?

Some units will need to be adjusted if you live in a high altitude above 3000ft.

How can i get an owners manual?

Good Afternoon Friend, this is Z. I am happy to assist you!

I see that your question is listed under Frigidaire Gas Single Oven (FGB24S5A) and that you are looking for the manual. I have successfully located the Owner's Guide. However, if you need a different manual, please provide me your model number. You can typically locate the serial tag (which lists your model number) on the front of the oven, on the left side, as you open the door on a wall oven. If you have a range, you may find the tag in the storage drawer, on the right side. Hope this helps!

The gas stove oven does not have a light can one be added?

Hello Yvonne, thank you for your post!

It appears above-listed Frigidaire model number FGB24S5A has a light inside the oven. Therefore the bulb may either be burnt out or the switch may not be working properly. First, I would recommend replacing the bulb with a new 40 watt appliance bulb (instructions can be found in the Owner's Guide). If the issue persists, then I am fairly confident that an authorized service agent will be able to restore your appliance to its normal operating condition. You can often locate a qualified service technician on the manufacturer website.

Amana oven doesn't heat

IS it gas or electric? If it's gas, you may need to have a technician regulate the air and gas. If it's electric your t-stat may need to be replaced. Hope this helps! :>)!

disconnect the wires going to the oven ignitor, turn the unit on see if its trips.if so the ignitor is shorted if not then disconnect the wires that go to the coil of the gas valve and do the same.i think either one of these is your problem.also if theres a fan in the oven do the same.

Fridgidaire stove/ove

I have a Frigidaire electric oven model # PLES389ECE. It is two years old. It has maybe 50hrs of use. I had the oven blower motor go out. Then I had a circuit board malfunction.  The repairman discovered that one of the main terminal connections was loose and caused the terminal block to short. Could this have been the problem all along? Also, we are having a problem with the oven coming up to temp. According to the operating manual, set oven temp. lets say for example  350 degrees. Once the oven is preheated to 350 a beep sounds. With my oven the oven is about 60 degrees to low. You have to wait about 10 more minutes. Is this normal with this model? Has anyone else had problems with this model? I also heard that Frigidaire made a bad batch of ranges. Could this be one of them?
Thanks, Vincent
