I have never used that brand of impact, but I have used many others and I have never known an electric impact or drill to need oil. You need oil in an air powered impact because the air motor needs lubrication. The electric motors in electric impacts have sealed bearings and brushes that are meant to run dry. The actual impact assembly should be sealed as well, it should not need any oil.

Trigger sticking can not switch on

Make sure the direction switch isn't in the middle. That keeps the trigger from inadvertently being activated.

How do I determine how much torque my impact wrench makes?

I test my impact wrench on a good vice and with a high grade steel nut/ washers and bolt that can take high torque. Select bolt with thread almost to the head. Hold head of bolt on solid vice and place two washers(more if needed to reach into threaded area) and nut on bolt. Set air pressure to max (I have 125psi). Run nut against bolt head with impact. Remove nut with torque wrench for reading. This low tech method will give you a rough idea. Higher pressure may give you better result. If you have used your air wrench for a while. Clean by adding diesel fuel into air fitting. Little at at time until diesel comes out rather clean. Then add a few drops of oil. Then test again. Good luck.

How do you oil a Craftsman Air Impact Wrench Model No. 875191182?

Just put 3-5 drops of air tool oil down the air inlet coupler and then run the gun for 5 seconds. Do this everyday that you run the gun for best results.

Dont know where to put oil in Craftsman 1/2 " Impact wrench

I just bought one of these also. Manual says oil goes into "the air inlet" which I'm thinking is where you attach the hose. That way the oil is sprayed throughout the interior of the gun once you run air through it.
Question for you: I can't get an impact socket onto this gun, almost seems like the square hole is too small. (yes, both are 1/2" drive). How do you get a socket on this stupid thing?
(man that sounds like I'm an idiot, but I've spent a half hour leaning all my body wight, wiggling, etc. and can't get a damn socket on)
