Paper jam does anyone know what is wrong with my kodak easyshare printer? I have put everything in, plugged everything in, and installed the software. However, when i turn it on, it proceeds to tell me there is a paper jam, even though i have put no paper in. I press OK and it stays on the "please wait" screen until i unplug it. Does anypne know a fix for this?

I am trying to install my printer and I got the same error message "paper jam." The photo paper tray is pushed all the way in but the light is not lit up. The message on there now says please wait and the On/Off button is blinking but yet it won't let me turn it off either. What do I try next?

Paper jam means that the rotation of the roller is not smooth, either because you are not inserting the paper correctly or there is something stuck in the printer. What you have to do is open the back cover of the printer and check the roller and clean it. Then if still paper jam is there, then it's manufacturing problem. Contact manufacturers.

Need to know if anyone has information reguarding kodak c110 all in one printer.

Watch the paper to see how far in it goes before it starts to turn sideways. There is a good chance that a shred of paper or other foreign object is stuck in the paper path and is holding up the paper there. If you can reach it with a dental pick or similar instrument, you may be able to fish the debris out without any disassembly beyond opening the cover.
Kodak has an on-line paper jam clearing guide for the EasyShare ESP Cxxx printers. This may have information you need to get at the problem.

Printer says it has a paper jam but can't find any paper inside ???

Try this one
Take out the inks and printhead
Leave the cartridge door open, then unplug the power cord from the back of the printer while the access door is open
Close the cartridge door once the cord is unplugged
Reconnect the powercord, turn on the printer, then your printer will look for your printhead "Printhead missing or not installed correctly..."
Then put everything back. make sure it will snap in to place. Then print a calibration page, then scan it. This is just over writing the error message.

Kodak #G600 printer dock/roller won't pull paper through

I read this solution to a problem someone else was having which was similar to my problem. I wiped off the roller with a damp cloth, made sure it was dry and that's all it took to allow the roller to be able to start to pull the paper through. - thanks for the help!

Kodak 5300 AiO Printer will not work due to paper jam

Looks like the sensor for paper jam is causing you problems.
Worst thing is that Kodak discontinued the whole 5xxx series because of all the problems those printers had.

I don't know if you will be able to fix the problem through Kodak support, I guess you will have to give them a call.

Good luck,

Printer won't respond to demands

Hi cmiller59,

This is a quite common issue. Try this, un-install printer and printer software. Reinstall software first before you connect any cables. After reinstalling software power down your computer. Connect all cables associated with your printer. Power on your system, windows will detect new hardware and the wizard will ask you what you want to do. Place installation cd in the cd drive and in the hardware wizard choose have disk and click next. I hope this helps, if not, hit me back, we have other options.

Thanks for using FixYa.com

Printer jam...i took the back off i see no paper jamed anywhere. I removed the paper and reinstalled it still the light come on saying there is a printer jam

To resolve this issue please do the following:
1. Open the printer access door(the gray part)
2. remove the cartridges
3. remove the printhead, to remove it press the release latch located on the upper left edge of the printhead where you put the black ink
ff17ccd.jpg
4. Then close the printer access door WITHOUT the printhead and the cartridges.
5. unplug the printer and wait for 30 seconds and plug it back
6. it will give you a missing printhead error
7. install the printhead first, close it and then it should give an error missing cartridges. install the cartridges and if you no longer have the error upgrade the firmware by going to www.kodak.com/go/downloads
I hope that helps. If not contact kodak technical support for further troubleshooting.
