Any store that carries Sirius radios should have replacement antennas available. If the connector in the radio is bad, you should get a replacement radio. Sirius customer service is good about replacing them for free in most cases.

Hi, the receiver reads antenna not found. I know the radio itself is working as my husband plugged his Blackberry into it and played Pink Floyd. Also, the receiver is not lighting up like it used to when...

If the screen is dim, then try a new antenna. Dim screen = shorted antenna connection. If that doesn't solve it, sell it for parts on eBay, you'll get like $5-$20 depending on if it's subscribed.

The small, gold, circular connector on the bottom of the unit. You can purchase a repair on eBay if the antenna connection has loosened itself from the board.

More than likely the antenna connection has jogged loose somehow, and just needs to be soldered. The person who handles all of our repairs at TSS Radio does this often, and I'm sure could tell you specifics. His email is [email protected]

My ST2 just died. Still picks up all the channels fine but just doesn't output any sound through the 1/8'' minijack. I've only been using it for 5 yrs on my home system, no car, no boom box dock etc. ...

This could be because of an amp, or it could just be a bad solder joint. Unfortunately, it's impossible to find an amp to replace it because sirius does not release a schematic. So, most likely it's irreparable.

If you would like to see if it's a bad solder, just leave it near a heater and plug it in. If it works, that should tell you that you should reflow your radio. Reflowing is easy, just remove the circuit board from the plastics and heat it up to 800-1000 degrees F with a heat gun. Let it cool and reassemble.

Try replacing the antenna with a new one. There could be something going on with the wiring in there.
