Microwave was operating, and then just stopped working in the middle of heating a pizza. Now it is completely dead....no lights of any kind, no buttons respond. Circuit breaker is not the problem. I can't access the plug behind the built in oven because I don't know the secret to removing the frame that keeps you from sliding it out. If I could, I would see if the plug had power.

So did my hard reset advice fix it?

Check your plug and change the fuse there also.
You might need to rechange the 20 amp 250v fuse behind the control panel again due to the recent spark.
If none of this works then i'm afraid a certified technician needs to check the power packs and boards

Well your gonna have to take it down a take apart the microwave more than likely. Probably have a shorted HV diode, magnetron, shorted winding in HV transformer.burnt or frayed HV wire insulation
