pull the lines off do only one at a time one should stick in the tank 1/4 inch which is your return the second one is your pick up which has a filter in the tank attached to it take a piece of stiff wire or a clothes hanger and bend a tight hook on the end just big enough for the fuel line to fit in it fish the wire in the tank and try to hook the fuel line then pull it out of the tank to take the filter off it might take a few tries but you will get it after that pull the line out from the top not the filter side take the new line and feed it through if you cut a 45 degree angle at the end of the line it makes it easier to feed once you get it in all the way use your piece of wire to hook it through the filler and pull it out then attach your fuel filter then shove it back in the tank like i said it may take you a few times but you will get hope this helps

My Bolens Weedeater runs for 3 or 4 seconds and stop but it will run only if I drop some gas in the caburator then stop. Can you help me with this problem?

My trick is to make sure that I always lube the blades after each session with a 3/4 engine oil + 1/4 kerosene mix - making sure that every tooth gets a drops or 2, then run it for a seconds to spread the oil & leave the blades overlapping. Doing this allows the blades to self sharpen I've found. 2 stroke oil , unmixed is about the perfect viscosity aswell.

Oftentimes it helps to use scissors to trim back a portion of the new line. Start at the bottom and cut upwards at an angle. Put some lubricant (WD40, perhaps) on the line and slide the sharp point into the fuel tank. Using needle nose pliers, grab the line and pull it through. This will only work if you have the correct size line. If the new line you are using is too large, you probably can't pull it through.
