Howdy,
Depending upon how you purchased and where you purchased depends upon whether you receive album information or not.
1. If it is directly from the CD your information should appear.
2. If you download from a reputable source the information should appear.
3. If someone has pirated the CD and then dumped into a file sharing service, more than likely the information will not accompany it.

The guide for Zen nano plus:
http://files2.europe.creative.com/manualdn/Manuals/TSD/8899/0xBA9C626B/Zen%20Nano%20Plus%20Quick%20Start%20Multilingual.pdf
It seems that pauzes between the tracks do not seperate them into
split up songs onto the player.

Support for Zen nano plus on this site:

You can rip audio CD using:
1. "application software" (getting a download from the support site) or
2. Windows Media Player 10 or 11 (WMP11 preferred).****
2.1 ****When making connection with the correct database,
songs will get the corresponding MP3 tags / names.

Help

This is from Memorex FAQs:
Some programs put the track number as the first 2 characters of the song title (file name) this will cause the player to put the songs in the same order as the CD (or album for those of us old folks). If you drag files onto the MP3 players you can arrange them in any order you wish in the file view of your windows computer. When you go through the songs on the MP3 player, they will be in alphabetic order based on the file name (song title usually). You can't change the player's settings to play in anything but alphabetical order. There is a work around: People can force the play list order by naming the songs with a numeric prefix (i.e. 01, 02 etc) so the alphabetic listing in the player will put them in the order you prefer.

How to transfer music from a cd to yp-p2 when the description of file is track1

modify the second CD by clicking on each individual song and giving it a title(It doesnt have to be the right song title you could put numbers also ex.1-13 if you wanted. just delete track in front of the numbers). That way the computer doesnt think that both of the cds are the samething

Won't let me name songs

To put names on the tracks, artists, albums, etc. You must put the track on a media player. (Windows Media is what I use), go right click on the track and select "Edit". From there, you can name the track, and if you have the MP3 plugged into the computer, it should automatically change to what the computer as it saved as.

Go Gear 2gb

First of all you need to restore the player.
Install and run the Philips Device Manager from the product CD.
Select the Repair/Restore option and follow the on-screen prompts. This will format the player and re-load the firmware.

The HDD1830 is only fully compatible with Windows XP and Windows Media Player 10. If you have Windows Media Player 11 you will need to uninstall it. This will roll it back to version 10.

Tracks must be transferred to the HDD1830 using the Media Player Sync function.

The HDD1830 is only compatible with .MP3 or .WMA music tracks. It is not compatible with iPod .AAC tracks.

Deleting the same song, with a different name

the reason it doesn't show the track version is because you changed the ID3 tag (which is something inside the music file, not the actual file name).

Try using winamp to delete your songs, it will read all the ID3 tags properly and show you the track version names
