I would recomend you to reset the camera, this will not affect any of your saved pictures. This can be done simpely by acessing : Menu, settings, reset to facory settings (Factory settings)

Also the lithium ram backup battery voltage will be displayed as check level with a number representing the battery voltage. The number will be 10 times the actual battery voltage. A new battery will display 33 representing 3.3 volts.
