When i set the Harmony to turn on the TV and PVR, it turns them both on but i get no picture or sound. Have I forgotten one setting?
Begin the Setup Process
Step 1: Create your Harmony Login
If the Harmony remote web site is not automatically launched, go to the Harmony remote web site and
create an account.
Step 2: Complete the Online Setup Process
Once you have created your Harmony login, the online setup process begins. You will guided through a
series of question-and-answer steps to complete each of the five main steps of the online setup process:
1. Identification: Requires you to create a login on our member web site.
2. Check Connection: Ensures your computer and your Harmony remote are communicating
properly.
3. Set up Devices: Helps you set up a description of your personal home theater system.
4. Set up Activities: Helps you set up a description of the connections for devices that allow you to
perform Activities (e.g. Watch Television Activity).
5. Update Remote: Updates your remote with your personal configuration.

you may need to reprogram your remote, or, if you have your profile setup on the harmony website, reload from there
SOURCE: I cannot set the time, my 880 remote want allow me to set the time!
I saw these posts recently and decided I would try and figure out the time on my Harmony 880.
First, using your Logitech Harmony remote software, version 7.5.0, log on using your login ID and password.
Next, select the remote settings tab, and go to display settings. Select time/display format and check the 24 hour format. (Note: the assumption is that you have already set the 12 hour time before hand, even though is says A.M.) I made this change to my own remote when it was actually was 7:30 P.M.
My remote actually reported 7:30 A.M. at this point. Save your changes online and plug in your remote to your USB port and let the Harmony update your change. Now your remote should be in 24 hour format.
Finally, log back on using the same procedure above only this time, click the check box for 12 hour format, save your changes and update your Harmony 880 one last time. Your finished, your remote should now be displaying the correct time in 12 hour format.
SOURCE: Harmony 550 remote does not
I had a similar problem setting up the 550 today. The problem was caused by the delay time needed by the TV before it was "ready" to receive new commands. I have a Vizio LCD. The problem was solved using the Harmony software for troubleshooting the TV device. I selected "does not change input on startup" or some such similar wording. It then allowed me to change the delay time. I extended the time to 7500ms and it would then change channels. I also changed the sequence of startup for devices to start the DVD and ReplayTV second (after the TV) to give the TV more time to boot up (or whatever it really is doing).
You can also add additional commands to insert a delay and then re-issue the input selection. However, I don't remember the sequence of steps that got me to that screen. Good luck.

you set it up online first that only takes 10 mins. setting up your devices then only takes about 10 or 15 mins and tell your installer to switch to decaf...

You will either have to use your Onkyo remote to teach the Harmony those functions or try one of the similar model receivers in the Harmony software. I had to chose a similar DVD player in the list in order to get my Harmony to play nice with my DVD player.
