My nokia e7 stays offline mode while sim inserted

you can remove your simcard, clean it ,and insert it back where it was , then you can restart your phone, it worked for me!

This is not a lock.This problem occurs when Sim card IC is damage,Sim Case damage.But one thing you can try is Clean the sim Case and Sim card.Insert the sim and switch in the phone .If the problem still persist Contact mobile repairing shop.Good luck Thanks

This problem occur when the phone gets dropped on a high place, water damage or setting on your mobile is changed.

Please follow this basic solution :

1. with the sim inserted on your phone, go to profile and select GENERAL. might you accidentally set your profile to offline mode.

2. check the simcard socket if its clean or well align,might corrosion is the problem that's why the sim fails to recognized.

3. Also clean the simcard itself using an pencil eraser.

4. align the battery terminal,might the power supply is not sufficient if the ground (middle terminal) doesn't reach the battery interface. as well as clean the battery connector.

If the above method doesn't work,consult a mobile service center for assistance,maybe the sim IC or some components related to insert sim problem maybe damage.

Just select settings, profile select the offline mode and it will be activated.
Or, you can switch off the phone, remove the sim card and switch on, it will ask "use phone in offline mode" click yes and phone eill be on in offline mode. When you insert sim card it will still ask the same question select any of your mind and enjoy your phone

Hi, kindly switch off the mobile and restart it, once you restart this will ask u phone is currently offlline mode u want to countniue, that time click no, phone will start.

Please restart your phone. After restarting, it will ask do you want to continue in offline mode, select NO. This should solve your problem. Make sure you have SIM card inserted in your phone.

just go to profile and select general, it will automatically put your device back to online

you need to have the phone check by a repairer for him or her to flash the Phone, I am sorry you may have to do that

where did you bought your phone? if you bought it from a telecom's promo it means that your phone is locked to a single network provided only. you can ask a technician to have your phone OPENLINE for you to be able to use any kinds of sims.
if it's not the case, check the slot for sim and make sure that the sim is properly placed. restart it without the sim and then restart again but now with the sim.
