Could be anything but check your water heater element first - prime cause of power tripping. Also check for leaks from the sump into the wash motor / electrics etc Usually manifests as fills, runs for a bit then cuts out as leak starts. Be very careful with electrical safety on this one - water and electricity are a deadly combination. ensure the power if off, and machine unplugged before examining. test for safety after the repair.

These machines use the wash motor to measure the water level.they measure the load on the motor which tells it when the water has reached the correct level.
Your dishwasher is sensing that there is too much water, they are a semi timed fill. try turning the inlet tap down a little and see if that helps.
If not the issue is either in your electronics or in the motor, The electronics sometimes get dry joints and if you have a soldering iron they are an easy fix.
