The part that you need is the oven ignitor, located nest to the oven burner. that part gets hot to open the gas to the burner, that will make the oven work again.

Rangemaster 55 leisure. My timer has stopped working

Hi Stella,

i am sorry for you, but you can forget repairing the timer.
You can replace it of course.
You do not need the timer to operate the oven.
For that you need to bypass the timer. The clock will stay working normally.
Although the 55 is smaller then the 110, the working of the clock should be the same.
Net link will give you more information and I hope you will fin the solution there.
Kind regards and a good weekend, Dik

I have a Rangemaster Leisure 110 the left hand oven lights up, but the flame is very low and will not go to maximum.

common problem, there is a device in the oven called a solenoid/ff device these are safety devices and fail after a few years. replacements can be obtained from main stockist Gas On spares on 0121-585-7799

The gas flame in the oven of my leisure classic 90 starts on tick over but than does not flare up to full flame like it should

common problem,it will most probably be the solenoid FF device fitted by the oven burner, these can be obtained from Gas On Spares on 0121-585-7799.the will need the model number and serial number.

My rangemaster 55 oven, stays on slow burn. and does not get any hotter... what is wrong with it ?

common problem,it will most probably be the solenoid FF device fitted by the oven burner, these can be obtained from Gas On Spares on 0121-585-7799.the will need the model number and serial number. however you are quoting two different models the Rangemaster 55 is a freestanding cooker and the 90D is a built in unit and the parts are different

Both ovens only light to pilot light, wont go

Faulty FFD's ( flame failure devices) once the flame is established it allows the full flow of gas to the burner... must be a gas-safe engineer to replace part..

Leisure rangemaster 55 gas cooker

It sounds exactly the same as I am experiencing on my oven of the same model. My theory is that the full flame gas is controlled by a thermostat, and that this has broken hence why the oven only stays on preheat. This will be a matter of a replacement part. Most likely the thermostat is a bi-metal strip that, because it has heated and cooled so many times in it's life it has simply finally given up. Try searching online for the correct part and get a corgi registered fitter or another suitably qualified fitter to come and replace it.

Left hand oven

The left hand oven needs a new flame failure device fitted , it is a normal oven not for slow cooking . This repair can only be carried out safely by a registered Gas Safe engineer . Visit WWW.gasSafeRegister.co.uk or ring freephone 0800 408 5500 to find one in your area.
