Help The Side kick lx phone, we a cannot access the web, I called T Moblie over and over regarding this, they said they areno longer offering this service, so why are we being charged $50 for unlimited service inwhich we cant use the web, I said then the plan rate should be $40 not $50 we cant use the web, This is not right when customers purchase this phone not being told that its not internet accessible, something needs to be done, either refund $10 or get the internet back working on the phone, Everyone that has the Moblie sidekick lx, need to call T Moblie and get there corp number and address so we can have internet service.

Press and hold Menu and L to bypass the GPRS message this will allow you to use the sidekick as a regular phone and allow you to text.

ollow the steps below to clear the datastores off and simulate a hard reset:
- Reboot the device by pressing @+1+0
- IMMEDIATELY press and hold the 'R' key on the keyboard. Continue to hold the 'R' key down
- The device will reboot, and when the initial boot screen (the 4 face buttons animation shows) displays, the screen will clear and the device will reboot again.
- Let go of the 'R' key at this point, and the device will reboot with no datastores, and force a resync.

Insert the sim that you wan to use with your sideckik, turn on the phone an then just go to MENU>SETTINGS >SIM CENTER. there change the pin sim but store the same pin for example old pin "1234" new pin "1234" confirm new pin "1234" then go to network options and click on RESCAN AND SELECT MANUALLY when you see the name of your network select it and you are done. phone unlocked....

Hi, well to start things off, I have the exact same problem. I want the Sidekick but cannot get the internet and my mom won't pay it for me. So what you have to do is buy it for the retail price, therefore "just the phone". Imagine it like this: you're buying a computer without internet. Same principle. When you buy it for the retail price, it will be a bit more expensive but you don't need internet and it will save you about $30 a month. Which is a life saver. So all you have to do is get it for the retail price, they cannot refuse. If they do either bring it up to the owner, or forget about the phone.

well i dont have a solution for this problem and i am really mad that i have to go through whole process to find out who is texting me but, if it makes your life any easier, you should press that menu button in the top left corner and "r" at the same time to reply that way the name shows up then just press the "cross/delete" button in the right top corner to get out without saving it to drafts. hope that makes a difference
