How to replace creative creative inspire 5.1 digital 5500 decoder?

If not, then have a look at their "Store" by clicking on the tab at the top, if still no help, then try their "Contact Us" tab, ask them where or how to get a replacement.

Both the speakers you have mentioned are multimedia speakers and don't have Dolby Digital, ProLogic or DTS decoders built in. So if your DVD player does not have 5.1 analogue out , only two speakers will work.
Among the two the creative sounds better but like you mentioned the I ball has a remote and higher output on paper !!.

Hi. Check your speaker system with a different audio device like iPod or any MP3 Player using the same jacks. If the speaker system gives out sounds then nothing is wrong with it... if no sounds come out, then you know what I mean...

Try to replace the speaker of your sub-woofer... maybe that can fix it!

Hi there bud , 1st thing try get another amp control box, Thats the easier Way :) Thats what i would do ...
No need too buy a hole new Speaker system...

I would say the power supply is fried. Try Radio Shack to find another one that is compatible

ODDS are slim without a connecting unit best bet to accomplish this is to get the dds-100 by creative good luck though as this item is discontinued and expensive even still to date. you will need osmething to decode the signal from the tv. a receiver with any surround capabilities will also work

5.1 inspire sobwoofer are not compatible with dvd players so you have to buy a sobwoofer for your player. sobwoofer have 3 In puts so player has two out puts so you have to buy microlab 5.1 sub for use both  equipment
