Can't access word

I would use OpenOffice.

Why?

1) Because anything generated on a computer with OpenOffice, can be used on a computer with MS Office.

2) Anything generated on a computer with MS Office, can be used on a computer with OpenOffice.

3) The user interface of OpenOffice is VERY similar to MS Office.
There is no learning curve,

4) It's FREE.
This is because it is open source software,

(Yes, I use Writer. Have used OpenOffice, (5 years?), since MS Office slammed me by losing years of tax info)

MS Access 2007 freezes when opening a basic TABLE. Please assist in resolving this frustrating problem.

You might try the "Compact and Repair" database option first before working on the database. Click on the "Office Button", then click on "Manage", then select "Compact and Repair Database".
