My GE Profile Fridge has sudden stopped closing without physically closing the door all the way. Up until this week our door would close all the way if you gave it a nudge in that direction. Suddenly it stops closing about an inch from the door seating against the seal. The effect is that when my young children, whom we've coached not to slam the door, go to gently shut the door it is left standing open. Is there a spring or other mechanism which is meant to assist the door's closing? If so does anyone know the part number?

There is a cam at the top of both doors the grab on to the fridge to hold the door s shut. There has been a problem with them breaking and not holding tight. Check the door and make sure the cam is gripping the cabinet correctly.

Raise the legs up on front till the machine tilts slightly towards the wall. The weight of the doors will then be shifted towards the machine instead of away from it. Only a slight adjustment is needed and should have been done by the delivery guys. A $5 tip would have gotten that done, you must be a cheapskate.

This problem usualy is fridge level problem.
You need to adjust slightly hieghr at front 1 to 2 cm and be also very good level so the drawer guides not been blocked.
If you do this and not be fiexed then you have to replace the drawer guides.
